Introduction

The Hormozgan Science and Technology Park has laid the foundation for thriving technology-driven businesses. Established on June 15, 2011, this establishment officially commenced operations in December of the same year, under the motto “The Best Place for Novel Ideas,” aiming to meet the technological requisites of sectors like energy, aquaculture, and water-based agriculture. Despite initial challenges, such as inadequate infrastructure and organizational coherence, it has progressed to its present standing. Over the past 12 years, the park has undergone substantial transformation, culminating in its current status. From 2011 to 2023, it has evolved to encompass a comprehensive Incubator, a center for materials and medical equipment growth, a commercialization office, three innovation centers, the Hormoz Technology Tower spanning over 4,150 square meters, a research and technology fund, the Hormoz Booster, the Minab Incubator, and the University Campus, sprawling over 42 hectares in three phases. The first phase includes a workshop space of 1,000 square meters and a headquarters building of about 4,000 square meters for the Western Hormozgan Incubator, headquartered in Bandar Lengeh.
